Hal Nelson Tennis Courts

The Hal Nelson Tennis Courts became the home of the Tiger men's and women's tennis teams in 1998-99.  This facility is located adjacent to the north bank of the Calaveras River.  It includes nine courts and state-of-the-art lighting.

The courts are named in honor of Harold "Hal" Nelson, a former stockbroker who made this project possible with his generous donation in 1998.  Long noted for his civic service and volunteerism, Mr. Nelson was a member of numerous clubs and organizations and was one of the original founders of Stockton's Pixie Woods amusement park.
