Stockton, Calif. - Just days after being named the Big West Conference Player of the Year, Pacific senior Christian Maraker (Varberg, Sweden) was named to the Mid Major All-America Team by collegeinsider.com.

Maraker was the catalyst behind a third straight Big West regular season championship for the Tigers, leading the conference in both points (16.3 ppg) and rebounding (9.7 rpg) in league games.

He is among the top 10 in seven Big West statistical categories. Maraker is also a three-time member of the All-Big West First Team, joining six other players in Big West history, including Pacific's Ron Cornelius, to earn that honor three times.

Maraker's selection to an All-America team marks the third consecutive season that the Pacific men's basketball team boasts an All-American. In 2003-04, Miah Davis was an AP Honorable Mention All-American, while in 2004-05, David Doubley also earned AP Honorable Mention All-America honors.
