2008 (Junior):

For the second consecutive season, the Tigers' starting second baseman earned Second Team All-Big West honors for her play in the field and at the plate. Goldsand posted 61 hits in 2008, leading the team in hitting for the first time in her career while ranking fifth in the conference. Her 61 hits created a team-best .347 batting average, ranking the junior sixth in the conference. Batting second in the Tigers' order for much of the season, Goldsand put herself in position to score for the meat of Pacific's order, posting 31 runs on the year, also ranking sixth in the Big West and led all Tigers with 18 multiple hit games. Her .388 on-base percentage also put her in the top-10 in the conference. In addition to her conference honors, Goldsand was named the team's co-MVP as voted on by her teammates, garnered the Catherine Harnack Academic Achievement Award and for a repeat performance was also bestowed First Team All-America honors by the Jewish Sports Review.

2007 (Sophomore):

After stepping into the starting lineup for the Tigers in her first season of action, Goldsand had a breakout season during her sophomore campaign as she earned All-West Region honors in addition to Second Team All-Big West recognition. In her second season, Casey upped her batting average by nearly 200 points from her freshman year as she finished the season hitting .361, ranking her No. 6 in the Big West. Additionally, Goldsand ranked in the top-5 in hits for the season, finishing with a career-best 61 hits, good enough for No. 5 in the conference. She also set career highs in runs scored (27) and RBI (18) and led Pacific in hitting during conference play at .382. In the field, Casey posted a .958 fielding percentage while completing the year with 96 assists which ranked No. 10 in the conference. In addition to yearly awards, Casey earned her first career Big West Player of the Week award after leading the Tigers to a 3-0 series sweep of UC Santa Barbara. Goldsand led the Tigers on two separate occasions to two of their three wins as she posted the game winning RBI in Pacific's first and last wins of the weekend. She led the way with a team high three RBI against the Gauchos with one RBI coming in each of the three contests.

2006 (Freshman):

Voted the team's recipient of the Char Burshiem Most Improved Player award for 2006, Casey proved to be an extremely valuable asset to the Tigers in her first season of action. In all, Goldsand played in all 51 games for the Tigers while starting 50 contests. Taking over the starting position at second base, Casey had big shoes to fill from which she helped solidify a middle infield and a defense that finished No. 6 in the nation in fielding percentage at .978. In 196 chances, Casey committed just five errors while tallying 110 putouts and 81 assists. In addition, from second base, Goldsand helped turn 10 of 19 double plays throughout the season. Offensively, Casey hit .174 while scoring 11 runs, driving in five RBIs and stealing 2-of-2 bases.

High School:

Goldsand is a 2005 graduate of Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, Ariz., where she was a four-year letterwinner in softball. In her first season at Desert Mountain HS, Casey helped lead the Wolves to a third place finish in the Arizona State Championships, a feat she would repeat as a senior in 2005. A two-time member of the 5A all-region team, Goldsand distinguished herself during her senior campaign, earning First Team All-Region honors after the season. In addition, Casey a member of the Senior All-Star team and was named an honorable mention to the All-Arizona 5A team. Off the field, Casey was a four-year member of the Principal's list and an active member of the Key Club, an organization that is focused on community service.

Personal:

Casey Goldsand was born in Highland Park, Ill. She is the daughter of Rich and Trish Goldsand and has one older sister, Annie. In her third year at Pacific, Casey majoring in business administration.
