High School/Club:
Rebekah graduated from Kamehameha-Kapalama High School in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2008. She led the Warriors to three Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division I State Championships. During the 2007 season, Torres and the Warriors finished the season with a 36-2 record, defeating Iolani in two straight sets and reaching a ranking as high as fourth in the nation. Rebekah earned a spot on the All-ILH (Interscholastic League of Honolulu) First Team in 2005, 2006 and 2007. As a freshman, Torres earned All-ILH Second Team honors. As a senior, Torres was named to the 2007 HHSAA Girls' Volleyball Championships All-Tournament Team. At the club level Rebekah played for the `Imi `Ike team. During the 2005 Junior Olympics, Rebekah was named "Best Attacker."
Personal:
Rebekah Torres is the daughter of Clint and Kapoa Torres. She has two siblings, Natasha (26) and Clint Jr. (25). Rebekah is the second cousin of USA Women's Indoor Volleyball Olympian and AVP beach volleyball player, Logan Tom.
